serial strangeness on the Sofa

I'm a bit behind on my podcast listening -- which is why I've only just finished the final segment of StarShipSofa's excellent 3-part serialization of F. Paul Wilson's tale "The Barrens."
This one is very Lovecraftian, with a touch of The X-Files -- and narrated by
eldritchhobbit , which is always a plus. The serial appears on Aural Delights # 148-150. Show #150 also features a pretty comprehensive look at Lovecraft as part of August's SF History fact article (also by
eldritchhobbit ).
As usual, you can find these podcasts on iTunes as well. If you're looking for some Labor Day weekend listening, why not treat yourself? There are some genuine chills here, and free is always a good thing.
