ankh_hplThe Heron's Nest just announced winners for their 11th Annual Peggy Willis Lyles Haiku Awards -- & I am deeply grateful to announce that Yours Truly received an Honorable Mention this year.
What makes this particularly sweet for me is that my one-line haiku (which you can read, with commentary, at the link below) was rejected by various haiku markets four times before I entered it in this contest.
