The editorial gods (similar to the Great Old Ones, but with fewer tentacles -- sometimes) have smiled on me recently.   Three examples follow . . .

Over the weekend, I found out that Mythic Delirium had accepted my extended sonnet "Space Dogs" for a forthcoming issue.  What's an extended sonnet?  Well, in my case, it means the octave went into extra innings, coming in at 12 lines.

The poem on Strange Horizons this week is "Past Human," my slightly jaundiced take on posthumanism / transhumanism.

And, finally, my contributor's copy of The Magazine of Speculative Poetry for Spring 2011 landed in the mailbox today.  This venerable print journal has been delayed for a while, but it's always worth the wait.   I've got three poems in the issue: "War Button," "In Their Stone Boats," and "On Certain Long Nights."  Other contributors this time include Andrew Nightingale, Mark Rich, David Greenslade, Robert Borski, Joanne Merriam, Yoon Ha Lee, Mike Alexander, Jessy Randall & Daniel M. Shapiro, P.M. F. Johnson, Geoffrey A. Landis, and Holly Day.
