OK, it's July . . . but the May/June 2009 issue of Star*Line (the journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association)  recently landed in my mailbox, crammed with poems, poetry news, small press reviews, and columns by Denise Dumars and Kendall Evans.  Though only 24 pages long,  this bimonthly journal continues to offer an impressive amount of content for its modest size.

The TOC for this issue is lengthy and varied -- pretty standard, for Star*Line -- but should be available soon here.   In the meantime, I'd like to note that both [livejournal.com profile] dreamnnightmare and [livejournal.com profile] dkolodji  have short-form SF poems in this issue; one fib and two tanka, respectively.

I've also got a poem in this one: "Across Our Universe," a crown cinquain exercise in very dark SF humor.
