heading to MythosCon next week, Jan. 6-9
Dec. 29th, 2010 05:21 pmNow that the bellowing of the Holiday Shoggoth is receding into the distance, it's time to turn my thoughts back to H.P. Lovecraft -- and the newest gathering to honor his memory.
Next week, I'll be heading down to Phoenix, AZ for the very first MythosCon! This convention has a strong literary focus, with guests including Ramsey Campbell, Peter Cannon, William F. Nolan, Robert M. Price, and S.T. Joshi. I'll be appearing on a panel dealing with Mythos poetry, and will also be doing an author (poet) reading at some point during the festivities.
Since I haven't done anything similar since the last Necronomicon out in Providence, RI in 2001, please cross tentacles for me . . . or, if you're in the area & feeling eldritch, come check out the event for yourself. In either case, here's hoping for no more massive dumps of snow anywhere near airports for a good long while.
