May. 21st, 2010 03:14 pmThose little NASA rovers Opportunity & Spirit (though Spirit is currently hibernating, awaiting the end of Martian winter) just keep on going. As of today, they've beaten the Mars mission lifespan of the Viking 1 lander, thus setting a new duration record for a Mars lander mission.
