I recently received my contrib copy of Dreams & Nightmares #80 , edited by
dreamnnightmare and featuring a remarkably surreal cover by Hanes Bach. Poets this time include
dkolodji, Bruce Boston, Gary William Crawford, Robert Borski, Terri Leigh Relf, Charles A. Gramlich, assu, Joshua Gage, Irving, and yours truly.
My poems in this issue are "Painting Ophelia" and "After the Show at Karnak." Though I'm glad to have written them both, "Painting Ophelia" is a recent favorite of mine -- and I owe it entirely to the February 07 issue of Smithsonian Magazine. Doug Stewart's article, "Incurably Romantic," is a great introduction to some of Britain's noted Pre-Raphaelite painters.
