Aboriginal Lovecraft?

I've been reading H.P. Lovecraft since my early teens.  I love comparative mythology.    So why have I never tried making extensive correlations between Lovecraft's  Dreamlands and the Australian Aboriginal concept of the Dreamtime?

I'm not exactly sure,  but now it seems that I won't have to.  In this week's Strange Horizons, Cécile Cristofari cecile_c  offers a thought-provoking article on that very point, with an extensive bibliography.    "Aboriginal Lovecraft"  is recommended reading for any Lovecraftian open to a few new ideas -- or merely tired of the same old tentacles.
