dead poets on the road!

Well, I missed yesterday's planned post for National Poetry Month . . . but today's news more than makes up for that (I hope).  The Dead Poets Society of America has just begun its 2010 Grand Tour!  Billed as "6,000 miles . . . 22 states . .. 34 daze," it comes with its own blog AND its own t-shirts. 

Alas, the tour won't be coming as far west as Colorado.  Sniff.

This very active group has also announced the 1st annual Dead Poets Remembrance Day for October 7th, 2010 -- Poe's death date.  The Web site for this event includes useful maps of poets' graves all over the country, plus an invitation to submit more names and locations.
