Poet's Espresso
Oct. 28th, 2008 11:57 amYesterday, I received my contrib copy of the Oct./Nov. issue of Poet's Espresso Newsletter. This is a nicely produced chapbook-looking item focused on CA events / poetry / arts . . . which is why I've probably never encountered it before, as I live in Colorado. This issue, however, was guest-edited by Stephen M. Wilson (poetry editor of Doorways Magazine), and includes a wide variety of speculative verse, some of it ideal for the scaring season.
Contributors include Linda D. Addison, Michael A. Arnzen, Corrine De Winter, James S. Dorr, John Grey, Charlee Jacob, Deborah P. Kolodji, Terrie Leigh Relf, Yours Truly, Marge Ballif Simon, Bobbi Sinha-Morey, Mary A. Turzillo, Stephen M. Wilson (and his daughter Verlana), and many others.
You can't beat the price, either. It's free. I'm not sure how widely available it is outside of Stockton, CA, but it's worth looking for.
