Star*Line Nov./Dec. 2008 is out!

The Nov./Dec. 2008 special Prose Poem issue of Star*Line is out now, guest-edited by Bruce Boston.   Poets this time include Thomas Wiloch, Paul L. Bates, Kurt Kirchmeier, Andrew Joron, John Tumlin, Robert Borski, Urusla Pflug, Jennifer Crow, Adam Cornford, Malcolm Deeley, Phillip A. Ellis, Terrie Leigh Relf, Duane Ackerson, David C. Kopaska-Merkel, Rose Lemberg, Alex Dally MacFarlane, and Yours Truly.

 

Even for the journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association,  this is a mind-bending assortment of both shorter and longer (up to one page) bits of poetical prose. Topics range from the launch of Apollo VIII to the hidden secret switches of furniture, and many fantastic -- or horrific -- notions in between. My own offering, "Sound and Light," explores exactly what might go wrong with a typical tourist entertainment at Karnak . . .
