Star*Line 31.5 is out

The September/October issue of Star*Line (the journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association) has emerged at last, with work by a really amazing number of spec poets -- including Yours Truly, with my extended sonnet "Charlotte In Waiting."  (What's an extended sonnet?  It's what happens when you realize that the octave of your sonnet needs to run for an extra four lines.  The sestet will still fit and the poem will still work, but you've got an 18-line sonnet.  It's happened to me before, though sometimes the sonnet wanted another eight lines rather than another four.)

This issue also offers articles on speculative poetry by Denise Dumars and Jennifer Crow, plus several reviews of new small press poetry collections and SFPA news.  The cover art is by Marge Simon.
